Fifita aiming for new heights after injury-free pre-season

All Stars game could be the catalyst for the Tongan international

Tonga international Tēvita Fifita is hoping to hit new heights in the upcoming All Stars game after an injury-free pre-season. The 23-year-old has been plagued by injuries in recent years but has put in a strong pre-season with the Gold Coast Titans.

"I'm feeling really good," Fifita said. "I've had a really good pre-season, I've been injury-free and I'm just looking forward to getting out there and playing some footy."

Fifita is one of the most exciting young players in the NRL and has been compared to Greg Inglis and Johnathan Thurston. He is hoping to use the All Stars game as a platform to showcase his talents and help Tonga to victory.

"I'm really looking forward to the All Stars game," Fifita said. "It's always a special occasion and it's a great opportunity to represent my country.

"We've got a good team this year and we're all looking forward to putting on a good show for the fans."

The All Stars game will be played on February 12 at CommBank Stadium in Sydney.
